Hullo, my name is Megan/Megs. On last.fm my account is yada. I'm from the midwestern U.S. region. Been in school forever, listen to music casually most chances I get. I like primarily metal (excluding death and crustier stuff) and post-punk/80s-ish stuff, but can listen to most genres/sub-genres if my mood is right. Once upon a time, I played euphonium in a school concert band and valve trombone for jazz band.
Stuff I like: fantasy/sci-fi books (though I am only beginning to play catch-up). I've also started to dig comic books thanks to all the Marvel TV shows and movies that have been coming out. I am in school for either computer science or app dev (currently only have anything close to expertise in DBMS (namely MS SQL and MySQL) and Java---going to be taking my first front-end class come January). I already have a degree in psych (B.S.), though I laugh about that now...
Hummm. Dunno what else to include here. I sorta play WoW but don't raid. I'm a redditor, primarily a lurker though. My boyfriend is making me a Star Wars fan just in time for the new movie.
Other random fact: I'm a lazy vegetarian.
