Album sleeves which for whatever reason have captured your attention. first up is a disco long player from, I'm guessing going by the hairstyles and fashion, the late 70's. It suggests the music is gonna be heavy on the sexual with pumping rhythms & orgasmic moaning not unlike Donna Summer's "I Feel Love". I particularly like the disinterested woman in the gorgeous silk dress being wooed by the bartender (?). I guess back in the day the album sold more copies due to it's cover than the music within!

Another cover with a sexual element but this is more playful and even comments on the artificiality of disco. Many of Cerrone's record sleeves feature quirky ideas and nudity. It's all fun.

Axelle Red's wonderful sixth album, inspired by bossanova style of music. Always liked the album cover..it's both reflecting and mysterious. World Party's debut album had very cool album artwork... Peach Union, a short lived indie dance pop project with a lovely female singer, Lisa Lamb. They have a similar look of St Etienne for the bands members. (two dj's and a female singer) Anyway, love the very yellowish color and how it shows all three band members side by side. Alisha's Attic, a very beautiful and talented sister singing duo. They always had very colorful and artful album & singles photography. I've always liked the artwork to their third album, The House we built.. Sally Shapiro, I've always loved the artwork to their second album, which I think is my favorite. The third album by content did not even compare. xD So dreamy and mysterious. International Observer's second, hard to find album has a pretty strange and cool cover.. General Public, a very underrated super group that do amazing pop music with intelligence, colorful quirkyness and heart. Their second album's artwork is both creative and colorful to look at..

Nice list Stephen but it's a pity there's no way to make them all the same size... Here's one I found that just left me speechless. Italians have a weird sense of humour.

What strange and bizarre artwork this is...to a very talented Argentinian Spanish singing artist, Gustavo Cerati. (whom sadly, is dead now) This album is fantastic, bytheway. If you like dreamy, good catchy rock/pop with nice vocals and cool guitar rhythms, you gotta listen to this album!

The Small Faces - "Ogden's Nut Gone Flake" Instead of being released in a paper sleeve this album came in a tin container.
