The quality of this film quite amazing given that the director was a student at the time.
It is tagged as being horror but that name is really a description of the special effects (which are fantastic) but not the subject matter. The definition of horror is probably debatable but I digress.
Clearly the story is a metaphor but what do you interpret that to be? There are several levels that can be interpreted from this story which is part of its brilliance. My primary take away is that there is always great risk when you reveal too much of your true self and once it is out there in the open for all to see and judge there is no turning back.The version posted on the directors web page is in VIMEO but also a much better video quality benastondirector.com/films/
