Hello everyone,
well, what can I say, first of all don't be scared by my nickname.
First of all it's cos I'm a vegetarian and I still love cannibal movies (and other horror stuff), second of all it's surreal and I love surreal art and third of all, well, it is the worst record I ever listened to ("Vegetarien Cannibale" by Arboriginal) and I thought a lot of music lovers choose their internet nickname after their favourite album, so I am going for my least favourite
I'm 38 years old, half American and half German. I live in Germany near Cologne and I work at a Goth store.
I listen to ALL genres, but it's a fact I am married to Neofolk. Really, I take long trips to see all the bands, also on small private concerts, with only 50 people attending sometimes, ha ha. Do me a favour, if you do not know what Neofolk is, please, please, please do not google it, ask me! Most stuff they write about it on the internet, even on Wikipedia, is utter bullshit, and it's always about politics. I am libertarian, I couldn't care less for radical right-wing / left-wing bullshit. Yes, I do dress in uniforms, but that's just a "Military Fashion Show", some of you might recall that song (which by the way, of course, totally is not Neofolk ) and stuff Neofolkers do, but that has never been any political statement. Neofolk is love! Those who are in our small, small scene, which is very familiar, would understand what I am saying.
Well, but apart from that I am always into finding new stuff, imho you can find good songs in EVERY Genre. Looking forward to hearing all your songs
